Universal City Osaka district is located in Osaka Harbor. Universal City Osaka includes Universal Studios Japan, hotels and shopping centre. Universal City Osaka is located in the Konohana waterfront district of Osaka. The key attraction in Universal City is the theme park Universal Studios Japan. Universal City Osaka also has many large hotels, some bars and the Universal City Walk Osaka which features shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Universal City Walk Osaka One of the interesting parts of the Universal City Walk Osaka is the Osaka Takoyaki Museum which like many of these commercial museums in Japan is more about the food and not so much about the museum. There is a branch line off the main JR Osaka Loop line and you stop at Universal City Station then follow crowds (signs). The train trip will take less than 15 minutes depending on where in Osaka you are and then about a 10 minute walk from the station. The station is actually closer than most of the car parking places!
