Osaka Museum of History is located in a distinctive modern building opposite Osaka Castle Park. The Osaka Museum of History covers the 1,400 year history of Osaka. The Osaka Museum of History is designed to give visitors a multi-dimensional experience of the 1,400-year history of Osaka, with life-size reconstructions, scale models, photographs and movies. Starting from the top level (10th floor), you will see a full-size re-creation of the inside of the Naniwanomiya Palace, which existed in 7-8 century. As you move down, you will experience from ancient days to more recent times of Osaka history.
